Florida Ambulance Association Honors EMS Professionals as State Stars of Life

Tallahassee, FL– On January 28, 2020 the Florida Ambulance Association (FAA) will celebrate the best and brightest of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) professionals during its first annual Florida Stars of Life. 11 individuals from across our state will be honored as the 2020 Florida Stars. The Florida Stars of Life program pays tribute to the dedication of these heroes while shining light on the critical role EMS plays in our healthcare infrastructure.

FAA President John Peterson notes, “EMS professionals work tirelessly to provide life-saving and life-sustaining mobile healthcare around-the-clock. We are proud of the positive impact this year’s Florida Stars of Life honorees have made within their communities.”

During their time in Tallahassee, the Florida Star of Life recipients, accompanied by executive hosts, will meet with members of the Legislature to discuss legislative issues critical to emergency medical services.
